Match report We turned up at Lawford Lane brimming with confidence and at full strength with the returning Mani back behind the sticks and on seeing a beautiful wicket decided that setting a big total would be the way forward on a OCs belter.

Clarky (62) and Curtis (27) once again got us off to a flier and with Lats chipping in with an effortless 42 the platform was laid... what followed next was quite simply brutal. Smashing his first ball over mid-wicket for 6 signalled Ali's intentions and seven more followed as he took the game out of OCs reach in a 8 over blitz scoring 76 off just 27... an extremely accomplished 33* from Harry saw us up to 306 and showed his massive potential.

OCs reply started well but they we're always up against a mounting run rate and a steady trickle of wickets kept them in check as they finished 76 runs short, Ali completing a MOM performance with 4 wickets. A cracking start to the season but as the boys well know there are still plenty of areas we need to improve, well done guys and more of the same at the Corra next week.
