Hi all,
We have been considering the wisdom of holding the Christmas lunch the weekend before Christmas for the last 2 weeks since the new variant reared its ugly head. Over the past 4 days we have also received 3 cancellations and others saying they were becoming uncomfortable with the added risk especially so close to the main festivities.
With this in mind we feel the only safe and responsible option is to sadly cancel this years event, which is a great shame but must be the best policy.
We hope that you all stay safe and get the family Christmas you all missed last year and have planned for this year
The club will remain open during the festive season (subject to any government changes of plan) and we hope to see some of you soon for a drink or two!
