Hi all
As we
mentioned in the main announcement about our tie up with Farleigh Hospice we
are organising a big Charity 8-a-Side Cricket Day at The Corra
The event is
planned to take place all day Sunday 8th
July and will consist of:

8
teams of 8 players, at least 4 of these teams will be made up from Springfield
with the rest from our friendly teams and invited guests.

Each
team will pay £50 entry fee which will all go straight to Farleigh. There will
be teas and other money raising events on the day

leagues of 4 teams, each playing the other team in their league once. Top two
from each qualify for the Semi Finals

Each
game will be 7 overs per side with all outfield players bowling one over

A
trophy will be awarded to the winners, and I have no doubt there will be a
little something for the bottom team!

The
bar will be open all day to quell the raging thirsts of the athletes involved…..

Spectators,
friends and families are all encouraging to come up and enjoy the day and
support the Charity event
All players
wishing to play in this event please start organising your teams – although note
the management reserve the right to re-balance the teams if they are deemed too
strong so please try and mix up your abilities. Let Jimmy or myself know in
plenty of time so we can start organising the schedules etc.
It promises to be a fabulous day and will be
made all the better by a huge turn out of players and supporters so please
please spread the word and put this in your diaries now!
