Match report Another dominant display this time away at the reigning champs Aythorpe.

On winning another toss our hosts were inserted on decent, if slightly green wicket. Despite huge amounts of playing and missing the Aythorpe top order managed to survive some good bowling from all our seamers and at 70-1 look set for a decent total, however the introduction of Si turned the game in our favor. His 3-27 was pivotal in restricting and strangling their middle order and with the help of the returning Josh who picked up a couple of well deserved wickets to end Rodings innings on 165 all out.

Congratulations must also go to Mr Tuohey for making the most simple of catches look like worldies, rarely has an opposition innings ended in uncontrolled hilarity, such grace is rarely seen!!!

Once again Clarky (30) and Curtis, who struck his maiden English fifty, got us of to a very solid start putting on century opening stand. Curts eventually out for a well crafted 73. A few silly wickets fell in trying to finish the game off but a 6 wicket win was very much deserved, Charlie playing with maturity to see us home with 21*.

Our unbeaten start continues with us sitting 18 points clear and surely just a couple more wins off safety, but harder tests will follow starting with a trip to Bentley next week, the corresponding fixtures over the last two years have both ended in ties, could be a cracker!!
