SCC Autumn Notice

We hope this finds everyone well and we're all enjoying the autumn sun.
Here are a few updates about what's happening in and around the club.

Firstly, after 4 years in charge of the first team Charlie is stepping down.
We'd all like to thank him for his fantastic contribution to the club and look forward to seeing him whack it everywhere back in the ranks come seasons start.

The indoor season is underway at riverside and training for all age groups  and seniors are booked in the new year...full deets will follow nearer the time.

The Annual General Meeting has been booked for Friday January 22nd.
If there’s any business you’d like to raise, please contact James Gooday.
There are a few roles up for grabs alongside the first team captaincy...namely a new Sponsorship Secretary and Pavilion Secretary. If you think you could contribute and volunteer your time to the future running of the club please contact club chair Paul.

Sponsorship Opportunities.

We’re always looking to welcome new sponsors and build relationships with local businesses. Please see the attached sponsorship information and help us spread the word by sharing it with anyone who may be interested.

Kitchen and further club refurbishments.

Our kitchen refurbishment is due to get underway with CWN on Monday 19th October. Its a full refit and will increase capacity by a significant size. This will be aided by a 10k grant from the ECB.
A few other finishing touches to add to Alex and teams inside refurb such as new curtains will also be completed in the coming weeks.

Christmas Meal.

Our Christmas Meal is taking place on Saturday 19th December! If you’d like to join us for some festive food and a catch-up with fellow club members, please contact Emma Beaney to book your place.

Clubhouse hire.

Don't forget the club is open to all our members throughout the winter.
We have Darts teams and Cribbage teams on the constant lookout for players.
The club is always open on a Friday evening from 7pm as well as Saturday afternoons & Sunday lunchtimes.
If anyone fancies putting on a social evening please put yourself forward and the clubhouse is available to hire for parties & events. For enquiries and bookings please contact Jim.

Thanks, as always, for your continued support of Springfield Cricket Club. It’s much appreciated!
