Good morning everyone, we trust you had a great festive period and are ready to get started with bat & ball in hand.
Firstly regrettably after 10 years Kegs are no longer taking short term bookings and there is no where else with close to the same capacity so a bit of jiggery pokery is going to be required for our older colts to train at varying venues.
First the easy part...
Development softball starters are still at Boswells on a Friday evening. This is for all current years
1/2/3. The first session is in a couple of weeks Friday 17th January 6-7pm.
Following on from this also @ Boswells (7-8pm) we'd like to see all current years 4/5/6.
Any newcomers, the first session is always free and then each session is £3 tbp by card on the evening.
This is where it gets interesting!!
Saturday mornings starting on Jan 18th we will be at Skeggs Farm in Writtle. This is for years 7/8 (and a few year 6s by invite). One session at 8am and one at 9am. We have a limited numbers of 14 spaces for each hour. It won't be a case of just turn up. A poll will go out midweek and a session will be assigned. (£5 per sess)
On Monday evenings starting on the 20th will be the turn of years 9/10/11.
This will be at the new centre in Terling (yes we are doing some air miles) again two lanes with one session at 7pm and one at 8pm.
Again we will be polling for numbers in the Whatsapp groups each week to make sure we get the numbers correct. (£5 per sess)
Right, I hope that makes sense..it's obviously a bit more convoluted than we'd like but hopefully everybody will still have the opportunity to train throughout the winter.
