**Important Message for all Club Members**

29 Sep 2020

Hello All,

Firstly we hope you are all staying well as we enter the winter months. Also please remember that we are all here for each other through the winter and should anyone need help in any way please contact anyone on the committee or club members.

As a club, we have always implemented the government and medical restrictions quickly and in the best interests of our members and the local community. With this in mind it is paramount that the new guidelines are followed.

As of Thursday 24th September, the club is now closing at 10pm. Under no circumstances should food or drink be served after this time and people should leave the premises at this time. The club has CCTV and this is easily monitored so please adhere to this. The club can face massive fines if this isn't adhered to.

It is now a legal requirement for us to display a QR code, which can be found on the front door. Please can everyone download the NHS Covid 19 APP and sign into the club using this QR code. For anyone who does not possess a smart phone, please use the sign in book provided. We encourage you to use the QR code where possible and again we can face £4000 fines for failure to collect information.

We have restricted access into the club to 30 people. This is to accommodate 5 x 6-person tables. Please do not move the tables, and please do not use any tables that have been put to the side. Please do not sit or loiter at the bar either.

Face coverings must now be worn when coming into the clubhouse, until you are a sat at a table with either food or drink. If you are not eating or drinking then a face covering must be worn at all times.

Anyone helping out behind the bar must wear a face covering at all times. The club has spare masks and gloves for anyone that doesn't have any.

Please do not sit/stand in groups of more than 6, and please social distance from people not in your household.

Please do not use the communal darts, pool cues, cards etc.

As a club, we do not hire bar staff. We rely on volunteers on matchdays and self-service throughout the majority of the rest of the year. We are content for this to continue in lieu of a better option or hiring a member of staff. Please only go behind the bar when serving yourself and your table. If someone is helping behind the bar please respect and utilise this. Only one person behind the bar at any one time and a face covering must be worn, and please sanitize before and after using the bar area.

With these measures we can safely remain open. Stay safe everyone.

Kind Regards,

The Committee
