**CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - CLUB CLOSED**

20 Mar 2020

Hi all fellow SCCers

Following tonight's government instructions we sadly have to close the club house to all but
essentials. Obviously we have no idea when this will be resolved so we ask you
to keep an eye on announcements both nationally and from the club.

The committee will continue to look at what options we have regarding outdoor activities but for
now all group cricket training, matches and events (inc. Cider Day, and Club
Clear up Day) is suspended for the foreseeable but hopefully short-term future.

These are unprecedented times and we as a club can only do one thing which is to stick together and
help whoever, wherever we can. We already have some volunteers to drop shopping
off or assist anyone stuck at home and unable to get supplies so please let us
know by mail/phone or on Facebook if you need anything at all. Anybody who can help
please feel free to add to your contact to the Facebook thread.

As soon as we are allowed to start outdoors we will set up some events and sessions but obviously we have
to follow guidelines, hopefully Jim can get a few of the rugrats out of the house
on a one on one basis in the coming weeks.

For now please all stay safe and stay in touch.

Finally we’d like to pass on our best wishes to our President John is laid a bit low atm, feel better
soon mate.

Thanks all, best wishes and see you all fit and ready to roll when this passes.

Jim, Paul and the whole SCC committee.
