Fathers Day Event - Dads v Kids Sunday 16th June at The Corra

05 Jun 2019

Hi all

As we have had to postpone the planned Charity Cricket day on June due to league commitments we have planned a Fathers Day event with a game between our dads and their kids.

DADS: Can you imagine the horror of loosing to your sons? A whole year of pain and embarrassment, you cant let this happen can you?

KIDS: Just think about how its going to feel having lost to a group of old, slow, overweight dads, have you got what it takes to win?

This is open to all colts players old enough to play in senior teams and dads young enough to move without the aid of a mobile oxygen bottle!

The game will start at 1pm and will be 40 overs (if the kids last that long), alongside the senior team T20 game on the main pitch. We will organise some BBQ food, and the bar, or course, will be open!

We have had a good response from talking around the club already but still have places available. Just let Jimmy or any of the senior players know you want to play and we will add you to the team sheet. If we have any gaps we can fill with willing volunteers for both teams.

We will look at later in the season for a suitable event to raise some more money for Farleigh, so watch this space

Come on you Dads!
