With only 6 days to go we are now in the final furlong of organisation for the big Farleigh Charity Cricket Day. The weather is forecast to stay as beautiful as it is now and all teams are ready to go. We may need some additional first aiders to revive those players longer in the tooth than others (and more likely for those that think drinking beer is a hydration substitute!).
Food and off field activities are all sorted, trophy is on its way and local press are aware of the event and will hopefully be coming up to watch some fantastic cricket as well as some out right cross the line heaving and long and arduous ball chasing.
We also hope to welcome people from Farleigh at some point during the day.
Events start around 12 noon and the cricket should be done around 7pm, with presentations shortly after.
