Hi all
Its now exactly one month to go to our first Farleigh Charity Cricket Festival. We have now created (thanks to the design skills of Ellie Vince) the posters you will see around the club and around the Springfield area (and also attached to this mail) and as you will see there is much more than just 8 teams of mad fools running around a vast empty cricket pitch!
*Sunday July 8th, fun starts at midday
*Food Stalls
*Ice Cream Van
*Face Painting
*Fund Raising stalls
*BBQ
The teams will be receiving the competition details and rules soon and we are still open for any ideas from you all for fund raising suggestions on the day. If you would like to get involved (and this is open to all members, families, friends and all ages) please let either of the organisers know (Jimmy, Ali Vince, James Clark or myself)
It should be a great fun day with plenty of cricket over the two pitches and building to the final in the evening, not to mention all the off field activities.
Make sure its in your diaries as we would like to get our association with Farleigh off to a flying start by raising as much money as we can
