Match report The toss was always going to be crucial on an overcast and muggy day at Lawford Lane. Skip called incorrectly and we were duly inserted.
Fair play to the OCs opening pair who bowled with great skill and control but some very loose strokes especially off Wickham went some way towards our downfall.
Despite a spirited effort in the field and at one point still having a chance 65 was never going to be enough, Faz Rehman hitting 29* to finish the game. Charlie returned to bowling form with a sharp spell of 2 wickets for 0 runs.
Unfortunately this result brings an end to our 17 game winning run in quite some style.
