Match report Another fine win with a great score on a difficult wicket and slow outfield. Another great knock from Luke of 126 not out helped us reach a very strong 216 for 6 from our 45 overs. Shan added a quick 22 on what was a very slow (and massive) outfield.
Again the bowlers did well after being given the strong platform to build on. Lucky (Alan Warley) was again living up to his name with numerous near misses, drops and catches falling short of fielders (try the rabbits foot mate!)- still 7-1-20-0 still showed good tight bowling. The wickets were spread around - Martin with 3-33, Shan with 2-17, Jamie with an fantastic spell of 10-5-17-0 (his first 6 overs going for just 3 runs!) and with the Man of the Match performance step forward the mighty Sir Garfield Nightingale who came on and swept away the resistance from the tail returning figures of 3-0-15-2! Well done "The Gazelle"
