COLTS DAY 2004

Colts Day 2004 saw another day marred by a number of downpours. However, despite the weather our spirits were not dampened, and a large turnout of Colts, their families and many club members, were able to enjoy some exciting cricket and another successful fund raising day for the Colts section.

Six teams of mixed age cricketers played a round-robin style tournament, culminating in a weather induced bowl out to decide the final positions.

Off the pitch, fund raising for the forthcoming Under 15s Norfolk tour centred on the Tombola table which raised a magnificent £168. Many thanks to the prize donors and the Tombola team who braved the elements all day.

A huge thank you is also due to Chris and Helen of Reelstone Property for their generous sponsorship of the raffle prizes, which raised over £800 for the club funds.
